In addition, I wish I knew OSRS GP anything about your parent firm MacArthur. They're a ghost at the internet. What's more, the only thing I truly do know is that Jagex has given up on every game they've ever tried to make outside of RuneScape. What the flying fuck did they do with MechScape/Stellar Dawn. Next was the question about prioritizing what I think you must come out having to maintain me as a paying member. There was no option for simply updating skills or stating I don't need you to concentrate on a few of those choices at all. Eventually for the question,"what do you think about customer support?" An alternative should really be,"What customer service?"
Repeatable quests, HD customers, once more trying to push new skills, etc.. No place to explain answers that require circumstance, such as satisfaction with Jagex's (non-existant) customer service or how much confidence we place in them. Questions regarding how polling content works specifically is frightening, given Jagex's recent penchant for just forcing content which has failed multiple surveys via as integrity updates.
Not to mention: Asking for individuals favourite games, place of residence, occupation status, and even their PHONE NUMBER is very inappropriate for this type of survey. Appears nakedly like an effort for collecting marketing data available. Editing this in now that I consider it more: The more I think about the telephone number piece, the slimier it seems to be fair. Most of us know completely damn well that Jagex isn't likely to call anyone who answers this poll. Leading people to provide their personal information into a survey under the guise of"Wow you are so smart, maybe we'll call you for your opinions on upcoming stuff!" Is absolutely disgusting, and if anything, I did not react extreme enough.
The main answer I gave in this poll that I wish to get across: The last decision on any content ought to be produced with BOTH the neighborhood AND Jagex working together to generate content that is really worth adding to Runescape. Players have demonstrated they will vote yes to some pretty absurd shit (See the Tome debacle) where Jagex needs to intervene and realize that asking was a mistake, even while Jagex has also proven that when they forge ahead on their own it doesn't work out nicely for us. Attempting to frame this question since an either/or is leaving a massive amount of nuance in the problem, which is something which applies to numerous issues discussed in the survey.
This poll provides me the vibes which you guys really need to get known to your communicating with your community, and that you are well knowledgeable of the gambling world about you. Neither of them are particularly correct. Jagex"communicates" with their community more than a number of other games, but not nearly the maximum, particularly once you don't count surveys which are crampacked filled with voting biasing issues, questions which shouldn't be asked, and (what feels like) intentional misinformation or lack of vital information required to make an educated decision.
You are very fearful of buy old school runescape gold repeatable quests and OSRS HD that will be optional and that won't impact you at all whatsoever, nor will either influence Runescape for you because you is decorative and the other won't give rewards? This type of overreaction makes it hard to take what you're saying seriously. And new abilities - these things that a sizable majority of players want, but maybe not quite 75 percent in any particular case - yes, really Jagex are blowing off their whole player-base here. Do not overlook the massive amount of people that spite vote contrary to pvp updates just because they do not enjoy the community. Unpolled changes are fine if that is the case.
