Application of High-Pressure Pump from High Pressure Cleaning Company
Piston pumps and piston pumps have two or three pistons or piston assemblies that can generate pump flow and pressure. These pumps are usually powered by electric motors, hydraulic motors, gas or diesel engines. The drive speed determines the specific flow rate of a specific pump. The pump should not be operated at a speed higher than the rated speed or pressure. Belt drive or direct drive can be used in many flow and pressure ranges.
Piston pumps and piston pumps are very suitable for car washing, truck cleaning, high-pressure cleaners, industrial cleaning, wastewater treatment, water washing, atomization, reverse osmosis and carpet cleaning.
The flow rates of piston pumps and piston pumps vary from less than one gallon per minute for atomization applications to hundreds of gallons per minute for sewer cleaning and industrial applications. The pressure can range from 200 PSI for low pressure cleaning to over 20,000 PSI for water blasting applications.
Piston pumps and piston pumps usually use brass, chrome or stainless steel manifolds with Viton® seals for chemical compatibility. The liquid temperature of most pumps is 140-160°F, but it can be adapted to 180-200°F for special applications. The pumped fluid must generally be clean soapy water or chemicals added to the pumped fluid before or after the pump.
