Trash Can Mould and Regular Maintenance
The injection mold in the production of trash cans needs regular maintenance. The maintenance that can be done on the injection molding machine is called primary maintenance.
The reason for a maintenance is that in the production of trash can molds, the following situations often occur: tiny swarf flying, volatile lubricants causing insufficient lubrication, loose parts causing other risks, etc.
This situation will inevitably occur in the injection molding process, so it is necessary to do maintenance.
The main maintenance is as follows:
During production, wipe the core and parting surfaces on the cavity side with a cloth every 8 hours. But be careful not to wipe mirror polished or textured cores to avoid scratches.
In the production process, it is necessary to apply lubricating oil to the guide pins, sliders or sliding parts once a day, and apply thimble oil once a day to prevent wear and damage or sticking.
Every shift should check whether the slider and thimble move abnormally, and whether the spring is broken?
If any problems are found, production should be stopped immediately.
When it is found that the product is stuck on the cavity or core, production should be stopped immediately, and the product should not be taken out with diagonal pliers.
If production is stopped, no matter if it is stopped for a short time, it is necessary to turn off the chilled water immediately to prevent the mold from rusting.
When removing the mold from the injection molding machine, it must be ensured that no water remains in the cooling lines and the mold. Wipe the parting surface clean and check for mold damage.
