Diablo 2: Resurrected Update Reintroduces an Old Feature Classic FeatureDiablo II Resurrected received a brand new version last week that brought back an old feature on the very first Diablo II game. The feature is called the Ladder system that gives players a chance to compete against others using a competitive method of playing through buy d2r items the game's story using the characters they've created.

The Ladder system is available in many different variations and is available for players to play again or try for the first time , based on whether they played original Diablo II or not.

If you did play the original game before this remake, you'll already be familiar with some aspects of this Ladder system. It's available in the Classic, Hardcore Classic, Expansion or Hardcore Expansion variants with each of them having different rules governing how many lives players can play with and what content they can access.

"Each mode will have its specific leaderboard where players compete to gain experience through strategic planning within only a short period of time, while also having access to specific content for Ladder," Blizzard's announcement about the launch of the Ladder mode to Diablo II: Resurrected said. "When when the Ladder season is finished, the leaderboard rankings will reset changing characters to non-ladder modes, giving players an opportunity."

Hardcore Expansion Ladder Hardcore Expansion Ladder: The hardest (only one life) model of Ladder game that consists of five different acts, and contains the "Lord of Destruction" expansion content. For those who are keen on making themselves stand out from other people in the Ladder leaderboards, you'll have until the conclusion of the season to get as high as possible.

When a season is over and the character you created for that Ladder is transformed into a non-Ladder character, Blizzard explained, with players allowed to keep their possessions they've earned D2R ladder items. There is a time limit that follows (which is one whole season) to get back your items or else they'll become lost forever.
