Basic Information:
  • Choice of Plastic Milk Cups and Your Brand

Single-use plastic cups are a great option if you run a coffee, tea or dessert shop that specializes in takeout and to-go purchases. If most of your clients drive, consider a bubble tea cup that fits inside the cup holder. Something as simple as using multiple cup sizes can affect your entire beverage menu, add extra training to your staff, and affect your brand's likeability. It's important to keep your store in mind when choosing a mug.

    Choose plastic material

There are two types of plastic cups: PP (polypropylene) and PET (polyethylene terephthalate). A more cost-effective and common choice is the PP plastic cup. While this material has better durability and resistance to high temperatures up to 248°F (120°C), it's also less transparent, has a more fragile "soft" touch, and may be overflow. On the other hand, if you're looking for a cup that will handle cold drinks well up to 176°F (80°C), then PET plastic cups are perfect. Although PET is a bit more expensive, this style has an elegant look, a strong texture and a firmer feel.

What is PP Plastic Bubble Tea Cup?

PP Plastic Bubble Tea Cups are made of PP (Polypropylene), which is the most common type of plastic cups. It is recyclable, transparent, lightweight and durable. It is also much cheaper than other types of cups (PET, PLA). This makes PP cups the most popular choice for many owners, as PP cups can also be customized at a relatively low cost.

PP cups are not the same

PP cups are also not the same. The two main types of PP cups are Y and YS. Y is the most common type and is of lower quality than YS. Next time you buy a plastic cup from a beverage store, look at the bottom and see what's written on it. The most common type is Y, which is a bit softer than YS. YS is a mid-range mug that we use for most custom products.
