The Diablo 3 community is extremely vocal about what they don't like and has been doing so throughout the development of D2R Items, so we're hopeful that Blizzard will take it into consideration from those lucky enough to play large parts of the game in the pre-release phase. However, we'd bet Blizzard isn't happy with the tidal wave of leaked footage that is rumored to have come on the heels of the private test.
One aspect from Diablo 3 that is confirmed that it will be returning is the limited-time Seasons. These are essentially post-post-game pieces of content that change the ways legendary items function and also remix the game's content of the base game and add replayability to a game that's already incredibly replayable. Seasons was supported for quite a long period of time in Diablo 3, so we're hoping that they'll be prominent in Diablo 4.
The seasonal nature of the game can also set Diablo 4 up to be another compelling Game Pass game, should it ever be shut down. A game like Diablo with solid gameplay is perfect to be a service that is designed for players to jump back into online games following a short period of. But considering that the game is due for release in June and the fight for its future with Activision continuing to be fought it's one of the Buy D2R items Xbox games which is highly unlikely to receive it the Game Pass treatment on day one, unless something substantial changes.
