First, turn off the power of the China glue gun, and then make sure that the glue gun is fixed by the screws. Some hot melt glue guns use special screws to fix the casing and the machine together. In this case, you may need to purchase special tools because standard flat head and Phillips screwdrivers cannot remove the glue gun.
Next, remove the plastic seal. If a glue gun has been used for some time, glue may accumulate along the seal ring due to leakage or carelessness, which is unavoidable. At this time, alcohol can be used to remove the glue so that the machine's casing will not break when the screws are removed.
In the third step, remove the trigger. For most glue guns, the switch is easily triggered, and the heating element can be carefully powered to melt the glue left in the previous step. After the glue has completely melted, remove all retainers and parts.
Finally, after removing the parts, first check whether the heating element and the temperature connection wire are loose or the solder is broken. For the China air gun, it is also necessary to check whether the hose needs to be cleaned, and if necessary, the hose can be cleaned according to the manufacturer's instructions.
