    In Sony's most recent financial report, it was explained that games that are available for PS4 will disappear by 2025. This doesn't mean that legacy PS4 games won't be available to purchase, but Sony has clearly stated that it will finish releasing new games for PS4 by the end of the year.

    
    

    Instead, by 2025, Sony is predicting that the majority of the revenue from games will come via PlayStation 5, with titles for PC as well as mobile bringing up the other half of its revenue.

    
    

    The overall picture isn't surprising considering that the PS5 is expected to be Sony's primary priority in the years to future. It's important to remember that at this very moment PS4 PS4 is a console that Sony continues to manufacture and releasing games on. In fact, this year's most popular PlayStation title, God of War Ragnarok, is still expected to launch on PS4 when it is released.
