Fergusson The D2R Items thing that the dungeons have become famous for in Diablo is the concept that they are procedurally generated where each visit is a slightly different experience. And one of the things I really like when we play is that you go into the game and don't know the purpose. There's no magic person who is waiting to tell you the reason.

How you do this is go into the dungeon and figure out the mission, which is really fun. And the dungeons actually play extremely well in our endgame. It's not just the dungeons you're playing when you're playing through the campaign regularly for, such as, new gear, or a particular thing and then at the end you'll find that you're faced with Nightmare Dungeons.

Shely says: Because the dungeons do exist and are real, they're places. As you complete the endgame activities , more choice can be found from the whispers of the Nightmare dungeon can be upgraded to the Paragon system which we've given you a some glimpses of in the video there. You can improve the dungeons with these sigils to make them Nightmare Dungeons, and increase the danger. Additional affixes can be added to them , making the monsters more dangerous or might even grant you advantages.

You'll get a wide variety of sigils that have all sorts of different affixes on them. There's also, again, player choice in the types of sigils you'd like to apply. If you find an sigil for the type of dungeon that you do not consider appropriate for your character, then leave it out and try a new one.

Ferguson: Nightmare dungeons are our take on Rifts that is why, If you've played Diablo there's always a thing in town and you just go to it to open a portal and off you go , and you're stuck in the buy diablo II resurrected items town and going through repeatedly. There are now Nightmare Dungeons. This is like running in a Rift in a sense, however it is a bit more distinct and has a sense of place.
