You recently made the announcement of NBA 2K23 MT J. Cole having his own cover. What was the reason and why? Three and a quarter years ago when he dropped a shot during some of the break on the All-Star Weekend Saturday Night, J. Cole said 'Ronnie I'd like to be in MyCareer and assist you in thinking about the concept of that.I worked with our team to bring this idea into existence, and it was perfect to collaborate with him. It's great that it's named the Dreamer Edition, because it was similar to one of those dreams which was realized over a period of years. It took quite a while for this to come to happen.

His integration into the world of basketball is evident, as well as playing overseas and doing quite a few huge things in the world of basketball. When we put out that teaser, everyone believed it would turn out to be another athlete in basketball... You can see it was a fantasy that was realized, and I am so excited that it allows us living in style, culture and music. 2K holds a place at the table now.

Do you see this becoming a thing now with covers? A non-athlete, an actor, or an alternative rapper?

Yeah, I mean that we're beginning to live in areas that aren't solely basketball courts or video games. It's definitely possible in the future as we continue to grow in the cultural ecosystem and where that could take us, because who knows? Right? We talk about how musicians want to become athletes and athletes would like to be musicians. Realcoleworld got his own cover coming with the help of @dreamer the dreamer!
