The server's population has never been as high as what they currently are on classic waiting to be locked up in WoTLK Gold that condition for months if needs be. And if nothing changed and they didn't do anything to improve the situation, it will only become worse due to wrath.
Yes, that's the TLDR version. And now for the slightly longer version. First up thanks for the Community Council and developer agriland for the discussion here even if it's not everything that you want to hear. I'd take this anytime over silence. So I appreciate the effort and time that is put into these blogs and updating us all on the situation I'm trying to explain the tools that players use to analyze the brown population.
It's not enough to repeat what I've explained about what about what the stock Pro will do for the many times that they've done it in a row. In general, we employ Ironforge dot Pro and whilst it's not perfect, I believe it's a decent representation. However, due to this strange change every pre patch period duration, the system is not providing accurate information. At the moment, it's dependent upon PvP leaderboards, there's no active arena season in the moment, and people uploading on Warcraft logs.
There's there are fewer players raiding right now. More players are leveling up, they're playing on fresh and fresher, they're making a dk they're just taking breaks from raids, and trying to ensure they don't get banned from defending on Allterack Valley and so on. There is another site called Wow classic pop.com that gathers player numbers from slash boom and saves them into a file and then populates on the site. Players can perform their own scans for their specific realm. By using the census along with the Wrath of the Lich King add-on, you could later upload the information from the site , and the site has been used by many players it lately with great success and I think it will give more precise information of population since early patches were dropped. Here's a good example of why I believe that it's doing well.
This is an excerpt from the blue Post about North American rounds so Ferris to provide more information about the health of the buy WOW WoTLK Classic Gold destination realm. Let's look at sulfurous U's from the last week. This realm was a little less crowded about half to three-quarters of the size of a 2008 round in the last week. The realm has had nearly 40.000 Incoming transfers and hundreds more still coming every hour. These incoming transfers are made by a robust and in fact nearly full realm that is right now nearly four times that of the fall round in 2008. Now if we look on Ironforge dot Pro, the reset for the week hasn't happened yet.
